MAINTENANCE | TILERS
Tilers work with a variety of materials such as ceramic, porcelain, stone, and glass, and use specialized tools and equipment to cut and shape the tiles to fit the surface. Tilers must have a good eye for detail and be able to work to precise measurements, as even small variations in the alignment of the tiles can affect the final finish.
One of the main responsibilities of tilers is to prepare the surface to be tiled. This may involve removing any existing tiles, filling in any cracks or holes, and ensuring that the surface is level and smooth. Tilers must also be able to work with a variety of tile and other decorative surfaces, and have the ability to adapt to different techniques depending on the material. They must also be able to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints, and be able to work to precise measurements.
